Sponsor: Tamr, Inc., 66 Church Street, Cambridge, MA 02138 (“Sponsor”).
Contest Overview: The Tamr, Inc. The MDM Journey Experience Contest (“Contest”) consists of three (3) separate timed Games of Skill (“Games”): (a) Cluster Buster (a game where the user must select the items which belong together in a cluster based on the data elements they contain; (b) Golden Record Race (a game where the user must select the right elements of data from a cluster of items); and (c) The MDM Journey (a racing game where the user must avoid obstacles and collect tokens). In all three (3) Games, the user’s score will be determined based on the number of correct answers achieved within the allotted time period.
Contest Period & Competition Periods: Contest is available starting March 1, 2025 at 11:59:59 p.m Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends January 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET unless terminated sooner at the sole discretion of Sponsor (“Contest Period”). A “Competition Period” is a defined period of time within the Contest Period whereby Content participants (“Players”) who register properly at the beginning of the Games can compete for prizes or awards based on their performance in the Games according to the prize specifications outlined on the Contest Website (defined in the paragraph below). In all cases, including but not limited to playing the Games (as discussed below), Sponsor’s computer system will function as the official clock for the Contest.
Registration: Go to tamr.com/mdmjourneygame (“Contest Website”). To register, complete the “Gamer Info” page with your first name, last name, company name and business e-mail address and click the appropriate button to proceed. Then complete one question about your company’s data challenges. In order to play the Games, you must first register. By registering, you (a) accept and agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor (including but not limited to one’s score in playing any Game and/or Total Score, as well as the correct answers to any questions/results in playing any Game), which are final and binding in all respects and not subject to appeal; (b) acknowledge that you have any necessary approvals from supervisory personnel at your company as to your registration for and participation in the Contest, including receipt of any prize or award from Sponsor at the conclusion of a Competition Period; and (c) accept and agree to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.tamr.com/privacy-policy. If these Official Rules are inconsistent with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy in any respect, Sponsor’s Privacy Policy will prevail, govern and control in all cases.
Game Play: Once you've completed the registration process, you'll start with the first of the three Games. Simply click on the appropriate button to begin. Follow the onscreen prompts and instructions to participate in the selected Game. (The Game instructions for each Game are made a part of these Official Rules and incorporated herein by reference; should there be a discrepancy between the Game instructions for any Game and these Official Rules, the Game instructions will prevail, govern and control as to Game play but in all other respects these Official Rules will prevail, govern and control.) After the conclusion of the first Game, your score will be posted on-screen.
Then, during the same on-line session, play the remaining two (2) Games. Playing all three (3) Games in a single on-line session constitutes a “Full Game Play” and will result in receipt of a “Total Score” (combining the scores achieved in all three [3] Games individually.) If you do not play all three (3) Games during the same on-line session, your score in the one (1) or two (2) individual Games played will be voided.
Unless and until a registrant receives a Total Score, they have not achieved a Full Game Play. Receipt of Total Score is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor under any legal theory. Total Score will be accompanied by a statement as to the registrant’s ranking as compared to other registrants, calculated as of the time of recordation of the registrant’s Total Score. Ranking is intended purely for informational and entertainment purposes and is not binding upon Sponsor under any legal theory. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty as to the currency or accuracy of any ranking at any given time in a Competition Period or the overall Contest Period and expressly reserves the right to adjust and/or correct any error/omission in ranking information without liability under any legal theory by providing notice to such effect to the registrant in question. Without in any way limiting the foregoing, a registrant is not a potential winner of a prize based on their final ranking; rather, notwithstanding their final ranking, a registrant is a potential prize winner only once they have been personally contacted by Sponsor or its representative advising them of their status (see Paragraphs 7 and 8 below).
Unlimited plays are allowed. Only the highest score per email address will be counted for a prize in a Competition Period.
Interrupted/Impaired/Impeded Game Play:
Players may have unlimited plays of the game, and only the highest score will be counted for a prize during a Competition Period. If a game is interrupted, it will be voided, and Players must start a new game. If sufficient time does not remain in a Competition Period or the overall Contest Period, Sponsor shall not have any liability under any legal theory.
Sponsor further reserves the right, upon provision of notice to affected registrant and without liability of any kind, to adjust a registrant’s Total Score if Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that any Game play which is part of a Full Game Play was in any way affected by any programming, technological, software, software, network or other error, failure or malfunction (whether or not reasonably foreseeable by Sponsor). Such revised Total Score supersedes a registrant’s Total Score as originally and initially reflected following completion of Game play. Sponsor is not in any way bound under any legal theory by the Total Score or any score provided after completion of any particular Game. Any such adjustment may be made by Sponsor at any time prior to the determination of prize winners/award recipients as per Paragraph 8 below.
Use of any automated, robotic, programmed method of Game play (including artificial intelligence or any device or apparatus that in any way amplifies or enhances an individual’s natural abilities in playing any particular Game) as well as any form of play other than as expressly permitted under these Official Rules and/or the Game Instructions (for example, sharing of “hacks,” clues or tips) or interference with any Game as developed by/for Sponsor will result in automatic disqualification of the registrant(s) suspected of same. In the event of disqualification, all Full Game Plays/Total Scores of the applicable registrant will be voided (regardless of whether a Full Game Play/Total Score actually was the product of the suspected improper behavior.) See also Paragraph 13 below.
Prizes & Awards:
Any prizes or awards to be provided by Sponsor to Players based on their Total Scores and how they finish relative to other Players during a Competition Period will be outlined on the Contest Website which will change from one Competition Period to the next. The prizes and awards and how they will be awarded will also change from one Competition Period to the next.
Prize winners are NOT ELIGIBLE for more than one prize or award during the full Contest Period even if they compete during more than one Competition Period.
Limit of one (1) prize or award per registrant; if a registrant has more than one (1) Total Score during a Competition Period, the higher/highest ranked Total Score of such registrant will be used for purposes of determination or receipt of prize or award. Winner/award recipient is solely responsible for any and all costs related to acceptance and use of prize/award as well as for any applicable taxes on prize/award. Prizes/awards (or any element thereof) may be subject to availability as to size, style and color. Sponsor disclaims any and all liability under any legal theory if prize/award (or any element thereof) differs from images of same in Contest advertising, including on the Contest Website. No substitution of prize/award except by Sponsor due to unavailability of any prize/award element in whole or in part for any reason and only then prize/award (or any element thereof) of comparable value. Prizes/awards will only be shipped to a street address in the (50) United States or the District of Columbia. Sponsor reserves the right to ship or not ship prizes/awards elsewhere in the world, including various elements comprising a prize/award to winner/award recipient separately. Prizes/awards are NOT redeemable or exchangeable for cash. Prize/award must be accepted in its entirety as awarded; winner/award recipient cannot accept only certain elements of prize/award. Prizes/awards are not transferable.
Notification of Winners & Award Recipients: Following the end of each Competition Period, Sponsor or its designated representative will notify potential winners/award recipients by e-mail. In addition to provision of mailing address for shipment of prize/award (if verified as being eligible and in full compliance with these Official Rules), potential winners/award recipient may be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (where legal) within an indicated time period.** In the event of noncompliance with the Affidavit requirement (as applicable); if potential winner/award recipient cannot be contacted for any reason despite commercially reasonable efforts of Sponsor or its representative to do so; or if potential winner/award recipient is determined to be ineligible or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules, the prize/award will be forfeited without compensation or further notice of any kind.
**Should the execution of an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (where legal) be required by Sponsor, potential winner/award recipient understands and agrees that an electronic/digital signature will have the same legal effect as a hand-signed document.
If a potential winner of a prize during a Competition Period is disqualified and forfeits the prize, all other potential prize winners ranked below the disqualified Player will remain in their positions. In this case, no Players will move up in the final rankings.
Eligibility: Employees, officers and directors and their immediate family members (defined as: parents, children, siblings, spouse) wherever they may live and others living in their same household (whether related or not) of Sponsor, its parent company, affiliated, subsidiaries or any entities in any way involved in the development, production, design and implementation of the Contest including prize suppliers are not eligible to participate, win any prize or receive any award. Additional important eligibility rules are outlined in the opening paragraph of these Official Rules.
Additional Conditions of Participation: Should there be a dispute as to the identity of a registrant, the applicable Full Game Play shall be deemed to be submitted by (and the accompanying Total Score credited to) the person who is the authorized account holder of the e-mail account provided at time of registration for the Contest and the corresponding prize or award will be furnished only to such person (assuming that they are verified as being eligible and in full compliance with these Official Rules). “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an internet access provider, online service, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.

All such fees are the sole responsibility of the registrant. Wireless Internet access is not available in all areas or on all mobile devices.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Official Rules and the content of any Contest advertising materials, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules on a given occasion will not constitute the waiver of such provision.
Limitations of Liability: Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for any of the following under any legal theory:
- any incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by tampering, hacking or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest (including but not limited to any Game) or by any technical or human error of any kind;

Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on the Contest Website.

IN SUCH CASE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY THE PERSONS SUSPECTED OF ENGAGING IN ANY ACT OF TAMPERING WITH ALL FULL GAME PLAYS BY SUCH PERSONS BEING VOID (IF APPLICABLE) AS WELL AS RESERVING THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL AVAILABLE LEGAL REMEDIES AGAINST SUCH PERSONS SO AS TO PROTECT ITS RIGHTS.
