Tamr Updates <1 Minute: March 2025

At Tamr, we’re committed to providing product enhancements that enable you to get even more value from your data—faster, smarter, and with better data visibility. Our latest product updates to our AI-native master data management (MDM) solution focus on customer data enrichment— delivering new and enhanced functionality for customer relationships, address enrichment insights, and publishing and API capabilities. Let’s take a look at what’s new and what it means for you. Watch the < 1 minute video and read on for more info!

Relationships for B2C Customers

In consumer data, relationships matter. Tamr’s latest update enables users to visualize relationships between individuals, households, shared addresses, or organizational affiliations directly on the Customer 360 page. This insight adds richer context to each consumer profile, enabling businesses to drive more personalized marketing, better service, and enhanced risk modeling.

When multiple customers live at the same address, Tamr suggests that they are a household. A retail bank, for example, will find this information insightful, as it enables the bank to bundle offers, provide household-level credit risk analysis, or recommend family plans.

Address Enrichment Insights

Address information is a critical component of a customer record. That’s why Tamr has improved visibility into how you enrich customer data through standardization, validation, and geocoding of address data. Using our Results Summary dashboard, customers now have access to actionable metrics to track data quality improvements over time. For instance, an insurance company can review policy data and easily see how many addresses were corrected, validated, or enriched with geolocation.

With better address data, companies experience fewer delivery issues, reduce fraud risks, and improve territory alignment for sales and claims teams.

New Publishing & API Capabilities

Companies need to maintain a clear trace back to the original data sources that inform each golden record. Using Tamr’s new Source-Linked Golden Records publishing option, companies can tap into enhanced traceability capabilities, enabling them to gain a clear view into the lineage of each golden record source. Further, we’ve also introduced an External IDs API that simplifies integrations with third-party systems.

These new capabilities improve a company’s MDM strategy and are a must-have for those companies operating within highly regulated industries. As an example, a healthcare provider can now publish golden records that show exactly which source systems contributed to each unified provider profile, providing greater governance and support for compliance and auditability. And the External IDs API makes it easier to sync those records with their CRM or EHR systems.
